Indradhanu Waldorf School is the first Waldorf school in Chennai. It is a method of education that helps the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of children.

In the program, Mr. A. Manikandan delivered the welcome address and Dr. Mohanathan introduced the special guests to the audience consisting of Children and parents. The event started with a story to stimulate children's inner imagination.

Storytelling as a base

The event started with a story, which was thought-provoking for the children. This is a key aspect of Waldorf education, where storytelling is used as a tool to stimulate children's imagination.

The children were given a chart to reflect the feelings of the story in a painting, so the children transformed the story into a beautiful painting.

Indrathanu Waldorf School “Head, Mind, Hand” is to bring together the three elements of holistic development of children. This draft seminar was a beautiful example of that. The event fully reflected the ethos of combining art, movement and storytelling in education.

The program ended with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. R. Baskar, Librarian and Information Assistant.
