Kirigami Tales – கதை சொல்லும் காகிதங்கள்

A delightful Kirigami - Kagitha Kalai event, designed to spark curiosity among children, was conducted by Kagitha Sirpi. Mr. M. N. Venkatesan, Assistant Librarian and Information Officer presented the memento to the resource person. The instructor for the event, Kagitha Sirpi, introduced Kirigami, explaining it as a variation of origami that involves both folding and cutting paper to create shapes. Children aged between four and fourteen, along with their parents, enthusiastically participated in the workshop, using colorful papers to create their favorite shapes. Kagitha Sirpi taught the art in a simple and engaging manner, which was easily understandable and increased the children's interest.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. P. Krishnan, Librarian and Information Assistant. Over 120 children actively participated in the event, which received an overwhelming response from children and parents.
