As part of the ‘Kodai Kondattam-2025’ series, the very first programme was centered around the theme of food. The session featured Mr. Kamarkat Srini as the resource person, who captivated the audience with an engaging talk on the significance and evolution of traditional food. Librarian Dr. Thirunavukkarasu felicitated Mr. Kamarkat Srini with a memento as a token of appreciation. He was formally introduced by Mr. S. Manikandan. During the session, Mr. Srini emphasized the nutritional and medicinal value of traditional foods, including the benefits of grains, fruits, vegetables, and pulses. His talk served as a thought-provoking reminder of the wisdom embedded in the dietary practices of our ancestors and the importance of mindful eating.
